Where is your facility located?

What type of products do you manufacture?

Animal pharmaceutical products and supplements including powders, pellets, soft chews, granulation, extrusion, and roll compaction for companion and production animals.

What certifications/registrations do you have?

We are an EPA, Organic and FDA certified facility, following cGMP guidelines. We also are certified with Health Canada, APHIS Canada, and NASC.

What is a typical minimum order quantity?

Every project is different, so please contact us for details. As a guideline, our typical minimum order quantities are: Soft Chews: 7920 kg | Powders: 1500 kg | Pellets: 30,000 kg.

Do you have private label formulations?

Yes, we have standard formulations for a number of products and can quickly be brought to market.

Do you market your standard formulations under the Precision Science brand?

Precision Science does not market any branded products. We never compete with our customers.

What options do you offer in terms of shapes and flavors?

We will work with you to develop a product that visually looks like what you need. We do offer a variety of flavors including pork, beef, poultry, and peanut butter.

What types of packaging do you offer?

We offer both turnkey and bulk packaging including pouches, bottles, buckets, and canisters.

Do you test products?

Yes, we do test certain products depending on the needs of the customer. Our cGMP analytical laboratory provides analytical services to clients to validate incoming and finished product actives and ingredients. We have ambient and accelerated stability chambers on-site as well.

Do you conduct palatability testing?

We do have relationships with outside vendors to test palatability. Our standard soft chew formulations have all been through palatability testing.

Are we able to schedule a site visit of your facility?

Yes, of course.

What is the standard development time for soft chews?

For standard formulations, 4 to 6 months. For custom formulations, 6 months to 1 year.

Once a custom formulation is created, will we own it? What is the development fee?

Yes, you will own your custom formulation. The development fee varies depending on your project.

What type of ingredients do you use?

Depending on the formulation, we source ingredients from trusted suppliers including natural, organic, and non-GMO.

Are we able to supply our own ingredients?

Yes.
